Only one last slot remains available for the Antwerp Major with six teams in contention for it.

The third day of the American RMR (Regional Major Rankings) has concluded with three teams finalizing a spot for themselves in the upcoming PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

Team Liquid, Imperial Esports, and Complexity Gaming are the three teams that have qualified for the Major by defeating Evil Geniuses, Party Astronauts, and São Caetano Esports respectively.

While Imperial attained one of the two 'Challenger Status' spots, the remaining two teams Complexity and Liquid swooped a 'Contender Status' spot for themselves. With this, only one more 'Contender Status' spot remains to be filled as three potential teams will continue to vie for it.

PGL Major Antwerp 2022: Liquid, Imperial, Complexity qualify through the American RMR

After FURIA Esports and MIBR, three more teams have gone on to confirm a slot for themselves in the upcoming Antwerp Major through the American RMR, which is now down to its last few matches.

While the starting spots for FURIA and MIBR will be known later today after the best-of-three tiebreaker is played out, the slots for Imperial, Liquid, and Complexity have been revealed.

The Brazilian roster of Imperial will be starting out from the New Legends Stage following their excellent run which comprised of three wins and just one loss. Out of the eight maps played by the team, Imperial has won five maps while losing the other three, registering a win rate of 62.5% which is great for a team that started competing just a few months back.

Talking about the two North American teams Liquid and Complexity, the former had a rough start but recovered well as the tournament progressed, while the latter started off on the right note but its momentum came to an immediate halt following a hard '2-0' defeat against FURIA.

Overall, Liquid enjoyed a map win rate of 80% which is terrific considering the big upset handed to them by 00 Nation in the opening match. After the early loss, Liquid went on to win its next three matches without dropping a single map which has earned them the right to compete in the New Challengers Stage.

Complexity despite winning both its opening matches could only muster a map win rate of 66.66% as it faced one of the best teams in the American RMR, FURIA. They bounced back from the '2-0' sweep by handing a similar result to São Caetano Esports, resulting in them qualifying for the New Challengers Stage.
