Karrigan shared his thoughts on how he felt leading the former all-star FaZe Clan lineup in comparison to its current CS:GO roster.
The player revealed that he felt a lot of pressure playing with the former roster due to the high expectations from the team.
Karrigan also went on to state that the current lineup consists of the perfect mix of players.

One of the best players to lead a team in CS:GO, Finn "karrigan" Andersen, has been around for a long time during which he has played with a lot of different teams and organizations.

Despite all the shuffles, karrigan has a special connection with the North American esports organization FaZe Clan, with whom he has played for more than three years combined.

During his time with the organization, karrigan has played with two completely different rosters, the former lineup consisting of star CS:GO players and the current lineup with which FaZe is performing extremely well.

In a recent interview with HLTV, karrigan compared the two rosters while sharing his thoughts on what he likes about the current team that makes them perform so well together.

Karrigan who is considered to be one of the best IGLs (in-game leader) in CS:GO has had the fortune of leading two different lineups for FaZe Clan. The first time he had played for the organization was back in October 2016, parting ways two years later only to return once again in February 2021.

The first time he captained the side, FaZe Clan had an all-star lineup consisting of players like Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer, Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács. While this time around he is leading a mixed lineup which had come together really well, showing great signs of being one of the best CS:GO teams in the world down the road.

Comparing the two lineups and sharing his own experience of having led both the teams, karrigan revealed that he used to feel a lot of pressure with the previous FaZe lineup as the expectations from the team was really high.

He said, "If I f**k up some calls in the final or we don’t do good, or I am not in my best shape, there is a lot of pressure on me". However, this is not the situation with the current lineup, where there are no egos at all.

Karrigan specifically praised FaZe veteran Håvard "rain" Nygaard for always having his back, "He is always the guy saying ‘calm down, let Finn speak please’, he’s the kind of guy who gives me the room I need to set everyone up to perform good".

Calling the current team a perfect mix, karrigan explained that they do not have a clear star player who would take point in crunch situation. Instead, everyone contributes to do their bit which he had to figure out with their coach Robert "RobbaN" Dahlström.

Karrigan further said that the all-star FaZe lineup was tough but as long as any team consists of level headed players who trust in the process and are committed to it, they shall succeed.

"You are going to lose bad games, you are going to go out in a group stage, but it’s about how you reset, and not changing everything from A to Z. I try to give space to people, but I also need space for myself to be able to call at the highest level," concluded karrigan.

FaZe Clan has already managed to qualify for the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022 and win IEM Katowice 2022, the first LAN tournament of the year. They are all set to go up against FURIA in the semifinals of the ESL Pro League Season 15 tonight, it will be interesting to see if they can go on to win this tournament as well or not.
