Imperial Esports to Reportedly Part Ways With CS:GO Coach Peacemaker
A new coach might be on its way to Imperial.
Imperial Esports might be going through a transition phase and they could face rough roads ahead. The Brazilian esports organization signed the 'last dance' roster in February earlier this year. Despite a surprisingly brilliant showing at the PGL Antwerp Major 2022, the team has fallen flat ever since.
Just a few days back reports had surfaced claiming that Lincoln "fnx" Lau could be on his way out of the team, with Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes from MIBR being targetted as the prime potential replacement.
Further, a recent report by Blix has alleged that Imperial's CS:GO coach - Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu and the organization might also be considering going their separate ways for the second half of the competitive season.
Report: Imperial Esports and Peacemaker might part ways with each other
Imperial Esports has faced a tough couple of months since the PGL Antwerp Major 2022, where the team put forth quite the performance, winning over many in the CS:GO community. However, the drop in its performance has been very disappointing, as it has just won just three out of its last 14 matches.
A few of Imperial's poor placements in CS:GO tournaments since the Major are as follows,
Failed to qualify for DreamHack Valencia 2022.
Placed last at IEM Dallas 2022, REPUBLEAGUE Season 3, and Roobet Cup.
Failed to make it past the first stage at the Pinnacle Cup Championship and IEM Cologne 2022.
The slew of underwhelming performances seems to have resulted in a few alleged roster moves that Imperial Esports could make during the ongoing summer player break.
Peacemaker's departure is the latest report that has surfaced with the coach having removed the organization's mention from his Twitter bio, adding more fuel to the fire.
With the news about fnx's possible departure already going viral across the community and fans showing concern about the 'last dance' breaking apart, there could be two big changes heading Imperial's way.
This is what Imperial Esports might look like if both the reports stand true,
Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
Fernando "fer" Alvarenga
Ricardo "boltz" Prass
Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo
Lincoln "fnx" Lau - Inactive Player
Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu - Inactive Coach
