IHC Esports has now qualified for two consecutive CS:GO Majors, cementing its place as the top CS:GO team from Asia.

The esports organization from Mongolia, IHC Esports, has become the first CS:GO team to qualify for the IEM Rio Major 2022 through the IEM Road to Rio 2022: Asia‍-Pacific RMR (Regional Major Rankings).

This is the second time in a row that the team has managed to qualify for a Major tournament, handing consecutive defeats to JiJieHao International and Grayhound at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Australia.

The APAC (Asia Pacific) RMR is being held offline as part of PAX Australia, the biggest gaming festival that takes place in the country every year.

Earlier this year, IHC Esports had made history by becoming the first CS:GO team from Mongolia to compete in a Major - PGL Major Antwerp 2022. The team finished the event with a bottom four placement but it was still a huge achievement for the players to compete at an international level and showcase their talent.

Now, IHC Esports has once again managed to fight through all the qualifiers and will be representing the APAC region at the IEM Rio Major 2022, cementing its position as one of the top CS:GO teams from the region.

In its first match of the APAC RMR, IHC handed a clean defeat to the Israeli-Russian lineup of JiJieHao International. The fight on Ancient was close but IHC managed to close it out '16-14' before dominating JiJieHao on Nuke with a '16-4' scoreline.

IHC moved on to face Grayhound, first beating the team '16-12' on Inferno and then despite a valiant attempt from the Australian roster IHC defeated the team for a second time on Mirage with a '19-16' scoreline.

IHC Esports won all its four matches in the playoffs to secure itself a slot among the 24 teams that will be flying out to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The team has been granted a 'Contender Status' and will be trying to make its way through the 'Challengers Stage' of the Majors.
