Fnatic Co-Owner Slams NIP With Savage Response During Twitter Banter

Two esports giants who share a rich history when it comes to Counter-Strike, Fnatic and Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) dished out some fresh friendly banter to spice up the CS:GO offseason. However, the trolling did not last long as Patrik "cArn" Sättermon - Fnatic's Chief Gaming Officer and co-owner, turned it into a one round knockout on the back of a savage response that left NIP speechless. NIP who started the banter got ratioed hard by Fnatic cArn, as the CS:GO community went crazy witnessing some class banter between rival European teams that share a rich history.

NIP and Fnatic engage in online CS:GO banter

NIP and Fnatic have a rich history in CS:GO. Both teams have had their own eras of domination. They have both fielded excellent Swedish rosters in the past that have won them numerous top-tier CS:GO tournaments, but along with all this they have also shared a strong rivalry within the server. Both the teams trying to be the best in the world while being the face of Swedish Counter-Strike.

Though both the teams are currently not in their prime and seem to be struggling, they are still massively respected for what they have achieved as the rivalry between them continues to stay alive - El Clásico of CS:GO.

Yesterday on 10^th August, NIP decided to troll Fnatic by posting their current overall HLTV world rank in competitive CS:GO along with their win rate which stands at 0%.

While this was a friendly jab at their arch-rivals, before Fnatic could come up with a suitable response, their co-owner came up with a reply so savage that it settled the banter right then and there.

Sättermon in his really crafty response to NIP basically called the Swedish organization out for not having won a single Tier-1 CS:GO tournament since IEM Oakland in November 2017. This simple fact was well packaged by the former CS 1.6 player as he shut NIP down with class.

The CS:GO community came in to watch the drama and despite the small lived banter they were thrilled by Sättermon's response, which ratioed the original Tweet by NIP. Showing great sportsmanship and keeping the spirit of the banter alive, NIP even retweeted the reply and while taking the L fair and square.
