Highlights
Swedish veteran, flusha, is leaving the CS:GO team he had co-founded in April 2021 - GORILLAZ.
He is contracted with the organization until 2023, so any team looking to sign him would have to buy him out of his contract.
Flusha while speaking about his future in CS:GO has expressed that he is not prioritizing the role of an IGL (In-Game Leader), but under the right setting he would not mind it.

Swedish veteran, Robin "flusha" Rönnquist, spent most of his 2021 competing in CS:GO with a team called GORILLAZ, which he co-founded in April earlier this year. Unfortunately, the team failed to break into the Tier 1 scene, as it mostly attained mediocre results in Tier 2 European CS:GO tournaments.

With the year drawing to a close, flusha has announced that he is looking for new opportunities within CS:GO for the 2022 competitive circuit. So far the 28-year-old has not been linked to any of the organizations that are looking to rebuild their lineups, but the three time Major winner remains hopeful for an opportunity to prove himself.

Flusha after playing on and off for Fnatic since August 2013, finally parted ways with the organization earlier this year in January. After staying inactive for more than three months, he announced a return to the competitive circuit along with the Finnish duo of Miikka "suNny" Kemppi and Jere "sergej" Salo.

Under the banner of GORILLAZ, flusha started competing once again with the hopes of breaking into the Tier 1 scene. However, the pieces didn't fall in place perfectly as the team barely managed to hold it together even in the Tier 2 circuit.

With 2022 on the horizon and lots of organizations waiting to set their teams for the next competitive season, flusha has left the very team that he co-founded in search of new opportunities. He still remains contracted to GORILLAZ right till the end of 2023, so any team interested in signing him would have to buy him out of his contract.

Not only this, flusha, while speaking about his future in CS:GO to HLTV, has revealed that moving forward, he is not prioritizing taking on the role of a dedicated in-game leader (IGL). However, if the setting was right he would still be open to it. He had taken up the role of an IGL for the first time ever while playing with his previous organization, GORILLAZ.

It will be interesting to see where flusha ends up going with the next season barely more than a month away. One thing that is for certain is that he is still hungry to compete at the Tier 1 level, but how far will this dedication take him?
