B8 esports had been teasing their entry into Counter-Strike for quite some time now, as they now operate lineups in both Dota 2 and CS:GO.

Dota 2 legend Danil "Dendi" Ishutin's esports organization, B8 Esports after dropping several massive hints about stepping into competitive CS:GO has finally made the move. Yesterday on 6th August, B8 unveiled their new Ukrainian lineup as they entered competitive Counter-Strike. B8 revealed that "There were many discussions and doubts, but we decided to do it and run forward." The community had been waiting for this announcement for quite some time and were happy to see B8 Esports expand, now having lineups in both Dota 2 and CS:GO. The roster assembled by B8 is very young and will probably start to build themselves by participating in local tournaments, growing overtime and preparing themselves to take on CIS giants like Na'Vi, Gambit, Virtus.pro, and more.

B8 Esports steps into competitive CS:GO, unveils young Ukrainian roster

The Ukrainian esports organization, B8 was formed last year in January 2020 and used to primarily compete in Dota 2. However, the organization has finally taken its first step to expand into another esports title CS:GO with a Ukrainian lineup whose average age is 18.6 years.

B8 Esports first ever CS:GO lineup is as follows,

Danylo "nat1ve" Bakin - Rifler

Bohdan "kr1vda" Kryvda

Nikita "Hkta" Reva

Mykhailo "OWNER" Lymar

Artem "r1nkle" Moroz

Dmitry "rjy" Chumak - Coach

All five players including the coach were members of the ex-Marlian eSports organization, who have now been signed by B8 Esports after showcasing some promising performances across various national and Tier-2 tournaments.

Hkta, OWNER, nat1ve, and kr1vda have the necessary experience to give B8 Esports a good start and foundation to build upon. Though the future plans of the team have not been officially revealed so far, they will probably start by establishing a name for themselves by winning national level tournaments and slowly work their way into the international scene.

The fifth and the youngest player of the team is r1nkle who is just 16-years-old, he might not have the necessary experience but his talent can not be ignored. He brings the much necessary firepower and can grow to reach new heights with this young team.

If we want to succeed in a game, it needs to be the number one priority. At this point, B8 is like a child for me not just a team. And you guys are becoming a part of it, I will do my best so you can do your best too.

With the CIS region under the spotlight when it comes to competitive CS:GO, this is a great time for B8 Esports to really cause some damage and make a name for themselves. It will be interesting to see how this lineup performs in the next couple of months, as the summer player break nears its end.
