CS:GO has released the highly awaited update consisting of Rio 2022 Viewer Pass, Souvenir Tokens, Team Stickers, and Player Autograph Stickers.
The update also celebrates Halloween by releasing a spooky version of the CS:GO map Ember.
50% of the proceeds from the Viewer Pass and Major Stickers will be going to the players, teams, and organizations taking part in the Major.

With just one more week left for the IEM Rio Major 2022 to kick start, Valve has dropped the highly anticipated CS:GO update which introduces the Rio 2022 Viewer Pass, Souenir Tokens, Team Stickers, and the prized Player Autograph Stickers.

As always, players have the option to purchase either the base variant of the Viewer Pass for INR 795 ($10 USD) or the one which comes with three Souvenir Tokens for INR 1,430 ($18 USD).

The Rio 2022 Souvenir Package will contain gold stickers of the teams and map of the match according to the users selection. Players can earn up to three Souvenir Tokens by taking part in the popular Pick'em Challenge.

Team Stickers and Player Autograph Stickers have also been released for INR 79 ($1 USD) per sticker capsule and have been divided into three categories - Legends, Challengers, and Contenders.

The CS:GO community is ecstatic as Valve released multiple items for the IEM Rio Major 2022. All teams, players, and organizations participating in this tournament will receive 50% of the proceeds from both the Viewer Pass and Major Stickers.

Here is a quick preview of all the items that have been released by Valve for the upcoming CS:GO Major.

Rio 2022 Viewer Pass

Avaialble for a price of INR 795 ($10 USD), this battlepass consists of a number of things to keep the CS:GO players engaged through the IEM Rio Major 2022.

  • Rio 2022 Event Coin - Every user will receive a commemorative event coin which can be upgraded by taking part in the Rio Pick'Em Challenge.

  • Rio Pick’Em Challenge - Every user will get access to this popular prediction contest.

  • Rio 2022 Souvenir Packages - Every user will be able to redeem their Souvenir Tokens for the coveted Souvenir Packages.

  • Unlimited team graffiti for the duration of the Major.

  • Steam.tv team flair.

The 'Rio 2022 Viewer Pass + 3 Souvenir Tokens' which is priced at INR 1,430 ($18 USD) will consist of three Souvenir Tokens in addition to all the things listed above.

Rio 2022 Souvenir Packages

These can be redeemed using the Souvenir Tokens, each token will guarantee the user one package which will consist of the following two items.

  • Gold stickers of all the teams according to the match selected by the user.

  • Map on which the match was played as per the match selected by the user.

Souvenir Tokens can be obtained by upgrading the Rio 2022 Event Coin, a total of three tokens can be received for free by every user. Apart from this, users can purchase the higher valued battlepass to obtain three Souvenir Tokens for a 5% discount, or directly purchase them for $2.99 USD each during the Major.

Player Autograph Stickers and Team Stickers

Player and team stickers have been divided according to the three stages of the Major - Contenders, Challengers, Legends. All the sticker capsules are available for INR 79 ($1 USD).

In addition to these stickers, shortly after the Grand Final concludes, Champions Autograph Capsules will be released featuring autographs of the players on the winning team.

Apart from these items, Valve shipped map changes for Ember, Vineyard, and Cascade, also releasing a spooky Halloween version of Ember with additions like spookified water and night sky, lunar eclipse moon, green lava, pumpkins, graves, seagulls turned into crows, spooky sounds, loading screen, spawn select, and tablet images.
