G2 Esports' dedicated AWPer m0NESY is confident in his abilities, sharing how he keeps himself focused.
He further dismisses the critical feedback about him that NAVI's head coach B1ad3 had put forth publicly a few weeks ago.
The 16-year-old said that he does not get nervous in big matches and that he is ice cold.

The youngest member of the current G2 Esports CS:GO roster, Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, has finally played his debut match in the top league. The 16-year-old did not look nervous, maintained pace with most of his team members, and made a fine impression as he held an overall HLTV rating of 1.11.

Despite the performance, many in the community pointed out that this was an online tournament, so his real mental fortitude can only be properly tested in a LAN setting. But m0NESY seems prepared, stating that he does not feel nervous before big matches, something that NAVI head coach Andrii "B1ad3" Horodenskyi had specifically pointed out with regards to the Russian CS:GO prodigy.

M0NESY does not agree with critical feedback given to him by NAVI head coach

The new G2 Esports dedicated marksman, m0NESY, showed great temperament and form for the European roster in the kick off to the 2022 season. Currently competing at the ongoing BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022, G2 has won all their matches and dominated 'Group-A' by beating teams like Complexity and Ninjas in Pyjamas.

In a recent interview with Pley, m0NESY said that he does not bother with all the hype surrounding his transfer to G2 because he believes that one does not need to care about what people say about you.

You don't need to read what people think about you, what they write about you. It's not good for you sometimes because it's good when you have haters, they always motivate you to play better, but you don't need to read these comments on any sites.

The young talent further went on to dismiss the critical feedback that NAVI's head coach, B1ad3, had publicly made about him a few weeks ago. With complete faith in his abilities m0NESY said that B1ad3's statement about him getting "really nervous in important matches" was not true.

To be honest I think it's not true, because I don't feel nervous during the big events. Okay, I haven't been in big events for sure, only when we competed in the WePlay Academy League on the stage, but I didn't feel nervous.

Providing a further example m0NESY described how he didn't feel any pressure at the WePlay Academy Tournaments and went forth to play his natural game most of the time and dominate the opposition. His final remark was "I'm just ice cold".

As for his goals for the 2022 season, m0NESY just wants to raise a cup with his team on the stage after winning a CS:GO tournament. He wants to feel that rush after the win, something he has missed out on so far.
