M0NESY says that if he were to reunite with b1t somewhere in the future, they would be a "fearsome duo".

NAVI Junior star player, Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, has been the most talked about Academy CS:GO player ever since the conclusion of the WePlay Academy League (WAL) Season 2. The Russian prodigy has stunned the community with his consistently incredible performances which are a step above his peers.

While m0NESY is busy proving himself and his capabilities, he is also "jealous to a certain extent" of his former NAVI Junior teammate, Valerii "b1t" Vakhovskyi, who was recently named 'Esports PC Rookie of the Year' by the Esports Awards 2021.

The 16-year-old spoke about b1t's debut year with NAVI and if he aspires to achieve a first-year performance as successful as this, in a recent interview with HLTV.

NAVI Junior's breakout player, m0NESY, might be the most talked about CS:GO player at the moment, but he seems to be distracted. The talented Russian marksmen is in awe of what the 18-year-old rising NAVI star, b1t, has managed to achieve in his debut year as a professional top-tier CS:GO player.

B1t along with his team has managed to win both, the Intel Grand Slam (IGS) Season 3 and the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 in his very first year. Two of the highest accolades that every CS:GO player in the world desires the most, titles that many have failed to achieve despite competing for a very long time.

The magnitude of this achievement was heavily felt by the upcoming generation of players, including the young m0NESY, who until last year was teammates with b1t in NAVI Junior. He described them as a powerful duo, while admitting that "Valera is a very strong player".

Commenting on the remarkable feat achieved by b1t, m0NESY said that,

It is what it is, Valera (b1t) had a great year. He won DreamHack (Masters Spring), BLAST (Global Final), IEM Cologne, (Intel) Grand Slam, (Stockholm) Major. There is little chance that someone will repeat his success in the next five years. It's too much. I'm even jealous of him to a certain extent.

Despite feeling that tinge of jealousy, m0NESY complemented b1t further by saying that "Very few players can join a team and improve it so much right off the gate, win as many titles as the scene's veterans did." As for whether m0NESY will be able to break into the scene in a similar fashion, he said that, "I don't know, time will tell. Maybe I will be even luckier than Valera."

He is hopeful about his future, something for which he has been given tips by the great Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev himself. He believes that if in the future b1t and him were to play together again they would be a "fearsome duo".
