The showmatch at IEM Rio Major 2022 will be taking place between Sweden and Brazil on the final day of the tournament.
The Swedish team will be represented by some of the most legendary players from the region - GeT_RiGhT, olofmeister, f0rest, friberg, and JW.
The Brazilian team will be represented by some of the most legendary players from the region - ⁠coldzera, fer⁠, fnx, ⁠TACO, ⁠and FalleN.

The IEM Rio Major 2022 is right around the corner featuring 24 of the best CS:GO teams from around the world. Each team has earned its spot by qualifying through the various regional RMR (Regional Major Rankings) tournaments, however there are some legends that have received a direct invite to be a part of this event.

A showmatch is being organized as part of the IEM Rio Major 2022 on 13th November which is going to be a clash between Sweden and Brazil. Both teams will feature some of the best CS:GO players from their respective countries to have ever competed in the game.

The upcoming Rio Major is all set to feature a showmatch between two of the most passionate regions in CS:GO - Sweden and Brazil. It is scheduled to take place on the last day of the tournament, 13th November, before the grand final clash between the two finalists.

Some of the most legendary CS:GO players will be representing the two regions and the respective lineup for the two sides are as follows:

Sweden

  1. Olof "⁠olofmeister⁠" Kajbjer

  2. Patrik "⁠f0rest⁠" Lindberg

  3. Christopher "⁠GeT_RiGhT⁠" Alesund

  4. Adam "⁠friberg⁠" Friberg

  5. Jesper "⁠JW⁠" Wecksell

Brazil

  1. Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David

  2. Fernando "⁠fer⁠" Alvarenga

  3. Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau

  4. Epitacio "⁠TACO⁠" de Melo

  5. Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo

Coincidentally, none of the players from the Swedish lineup is competing in the IEM Rio Major 2022 as part of the team. On the other hand, all the Brazilian players are still a part of the Major with some team or the other.

This will surely be an epic faceoff between two of the most stacked lineups, carrying multiple Major titles between them. Both regions getting the best possible representation at the biggest stage possible.
