Pro Players Name The Best CS:GO Team of The Online Era

The current competitive Counter-Strike scene which has shifted online due to global health situation has not seen one team dominate the circuit for too long as every other tournament witnesses a new CS:GO team coming out on top. Though a few teams have witnessed some sort of consistency for a short period, none of them have been able to dominate the circuit through and through.

But despite all this if one had to chose which team truly dominated this online era of Counter-Strike who would it be? Well a few pros came forward with their picks in a recent interview with Dexerto, so let’s see which team takes the cake.

Pros Name The Best CS:GO Team Of Online Era

Four CS:GO in-game leaders came forward to put give their opinion on which team has performed the best so far in the online era of the game. Both Marcelo “coldzera” David and Finn “Karrigan“ Andersen chose the Danish team Heroic as the best CS:GO team of the online era because of the team’s superb form in the last few months during which they won ESL One Cologne 2020 and DreamHack Open Fall 2020.

The remaining two in-game leaders Jake “Stewie2K” Yip and Benjamin "blameF" Bremer were off the opinion that BIG and Vitality were the best team during this season of online player. Stewie2K went with BIG because of the damage that the German team did for a few months, claiming the top spot after having won three consecutive tournaments before fading away. BlameF stuck with Vitality because though the team has not won a lot of tournaments they have shown really good consistency by placing second and third in multiple tournaments.

So overall according to these four pros Heroic is the best CS:GO team in the online era who might have dropped off big time in the last few tournaments but overall have been a strong team that raised to the tier-one status on the back of some incredible performance. Even going on the win one of the most stacked tournaments of the year ESL One Cologne 2020.

BIG and Vitality were also named and rightfully deserve the mention as BIG out of the blue shot to the top winning three consecutive CS:GO tournaments before fizzling out, while the French squad is hands down the most consistent team reaching the finals of five tournaments and even winning one of them IEM Beijing 2020.
