- Karrigan might have uninstalled CS:GO from his PC yesterday.
- The 30-year-old posted a video on Twitter captioned "Out of Cologne".
- It is unclear if he actually uninstalled the game because the video ended abruptly.
It has been a rough journey for mousesports ever since competitive Counter-Strike shifted online due to the ongoing pandemic. The German esports organization has faced terrible consecutive losses in multiple tier-one tournaments with the most recent being their elimination from the ESL One: Cologne 2020 Europe - Online. Yesterday’s loss against MAD Lions seems to have taken quite a toll on the team’s in-game leader Finn "karrigan" Andersen as he apparently uninstalled CS:GO after the series with the caption of his Twitter post reading “Out of Cologne”.
Mousesports IGL Karrigan Uninstalls CS:GO
The 30-year-old Danish-German pro karrigan seems to have deleted CS:GO from his computer yesterday, following the crushing defeat against MAD Lions in the lower bracket of the currently ongoing ESL One: Cologne 2020 Europe - Online.
Soon after the conclusion of the series karrigan took to Twitter to post a video in which he can be seen recording himself uninstall CS:GO from his computer. But it is uncertain at this point whether the player actually uninstalled the game or not because though he clicks on ‘uninstall’ initially when the main command box pops up the video comes to an abrupt ending, karrigan’s mouse pointer can only be seen hovering on top of the uninstall button and not actually clicking it.
The community were quite supportive of mousesports and firmly believe that the team will bounce back once the competitions return to LAN. Also, they seem to be quite distracted by the fact that karrigan had a game called ‘Barbie Dreamhouse Party’ on his Steam account!
But overall mousesports have really suffered this year, starting off with a victory at ICE Challenge 2020 which was the first LAN tournament of the year and then going on to place at the very bottom of three events DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Europe, cs_summit 6 Online: Europe, and ESL One: Cologne 2020 Online - Europe.
Karrigan’s personal performance also suffered quite heavily at Cologne as he achieved a terrible overall rating of 0.62 with a K-D difference of -44 across a total of five maps. Mousesports recently signed Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras from FaZe Clan and maybe moving forward the team might have a new starting lineup to put up better performances.
