As more people in the esports community have gone public with their own instances and stories of being abused or harassed, a few CS:GO personalities have also been called out for the same. Following the yet unverified accusations against Henry “HenryG” Greer by his ex-girlfriend and cosplayer Kelly Jean, to which he responded publicly, now a Twitch streamer who goes by the name of Melanie (@ passioniteTV) has called out CS:GO commentator Mohan "launders" Govindasamy for sexually assaulting her.

Melanie Calls Out Launders

The 21-year-old streamer who goes by the name of passionite on Twitch has claimed via a TwitLonger post to have been sexually assaulted by launders back in 2017 when they were apparently “dating for a short time”.

Melanie reveals that she and launders had started talking to each other back in May 2017 before her even graduating high school. She had just turned 18 at the time while claiming that launders was 26, “He had reached out to me via social media. I flew to see him a few weeks later and again in July.”

Melanie then goes on to talk about the alleged sexual assault saying that she did not feel like having sex one day “We both (had) agreed the night before, and again the same day.” But while they were sitting on the black futon, Melanie claims that launders started touching her and though she told him directly to his face that she did not want to have sex, launders allegedly gave her a terrifying look while responding by saying, “I don’t care, I want it now.”

She further claims that launders held her down while she was crying and begging him to stop.

Melanie claims that following the assault, launders did not even recognize what he had done and when she tried to explain what he had just done was wrong, launders allegedly suggested that they use a safe word next time.

“I had dealt with some mental health issues in the past but this traumatizing experience where someone you care for and trust hurts you and ignores that it happened, put me in one of the worst depressive states I had ever been in.”

Melanie further claims that whenever she brought up this topic to discuss it with launders, he would “skew the discussion towards me requiring help instead of what caused the aching pain he left me with.”

In conclusion, Melanie says that all of this has very much affected both her life and relationships but things are better now due to her amazing support system consisting of her current boyfriend and two cats.

The reason as to why Melanie decided to come forth with her story is credited to the many other women who have brought their stories to light hence inspiring her “to make mine known as well.” She goes on to thank all of them for their bravery and courage.

Launders has not made any comment or statement on these allegations of sexual assault yet. Launders is currently working as a remote commentator at cs_summit 6 Online: Europe and is a staple of the CS:GO community.
