PGL Copenhagen Major 2024: How to Get Souvenir Tokens and Claim Souvenir Packages in CS2

Valve released the Viewer Pass for PGL Copenhagen Major 2024 on 14^th March 2024, Thursday, just a few days before the tournament's scheduled start from 17^th March 2024, Sunday onwards.

As always the Copenhagen 2024 Viewer Pass consists of features like Pick'Em Challenge, Souvenir Tokens, Event Coin, and the coveted Souvenir Packages whose content continues to be shrouded in mystery.

Players can purchase the upgraded Viewer Pass which costs $18 or ₹1430 to receive three Souvenir Tokens right at the beginning. If not, they can go for the cheaper variant costing $10 or ₹795, but then miss out on the initial set of Souvenir Tokens.

Either way, there is an alternate method to get up to three Souvenir Tokens for free by putting in some grind. These can then be traded for Souvenir Packages to obtain map-specific unique weapons with player or team stickers on top of them.

How to Get Souvenir Tokens From Copenhagen 2024 Viewer Pass in CS2?

As stated above, players can get three Souvenir Tokens with the Viewer Pass. If they opt not to go for this, they can even purchase them individually for $3 or ₹237 for the duration of this tournament, 17^th to 31^st March 2024.

If they are not too keen on spending money, players can get up to three Souvenir Tokens for free by upgrading their Copenhagen 2024 Event Coin from Bronze till Diamond.

Every time the Event Coin upgrades a Souvenir Token is rewarded to the player. For this to happen, players need to complete a set number of Pick'Em Challenges.

5. Get five correct Pick’Em predictions for the Elimination Stage.

6. Place all seven Pick’Em predictions for the Playoffs before it begins.

7. Place two correct Pick’Em predictions for the quarterfinals.

8. Place one correct Pick’Em prediction for the semifinals.

9. Make a correct Pick’Em prediction for the grand final.

How to Claim Souvenir Packages in CS2 During PGL Copenhagen Major 2024?

Souvenir Packages are nothing but Major exclusive cosmetic collections that contain limited-edition Souvenir quality weapon skins. Once obtained, the Souvenir Packages do not require any key to open them.

To claim a Souvenir Package a user must have a Souvenir Token. A user can receive a maximum of one package in exchange for one token. To execute this, the user needs to follow the below mentioned steps,

1. The user first needs to select any match from PGL Copenhagen Major 2024.

2. Once a match has been selected by the user, they will receive a random map-specific unique weapon skin with a gold team or player sticker on it. Details related to the map or teams will be directly taken from the match selected.

Earlier, weapon skins obtained via Souvenir Packages contained four stickers, the tournament sticker, stickers of the two competing teams, and the player signature sticker of the round MVP.

However, during PGL Stockholm Major 2021, rules around player-autographed stickers changed, resulting in weapon skins now containing only three stickers. In 2022, Valve decided that Souvenirs would feature gold stickers of the teams and players.

These Souvenir Packages can only be claimed on matches played as part of the PGL Copenhagen Major 2024. Players will have limited time to make a decision and consume them because after the deadline all Souvenir Tokens and Souvenir Packages will become void.
