The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang(MLBB) Esports Professional Team from Indonesia, Alter Ego, left the world speechless with their clean run of the One Esports MPL Invitational(MPLI). The team went undefeated since the first match with EVOS Legends up to Bren Esports in the Grand Finals.

It has been a long journey for Alter Ego, and somehow, a smooth sailing one. They swept the floor in the MPL Invitational without losing a single match. Bren Esports fought with everything they had, but they fell short on the hands of Alter Ego’s impressive tactic of finishing the game as early as possible.

Alter Ego vs Bren Esports - MPL Invitational Grand Finals

Game 1:

The first match started with a bang, Alter Ego being hungry for victory and out for blood.

Bren only managed to snatch four kills the entire match. In comparison, Alter Ego destroyed the enemy team with 26 kills, thanks to LEOMURPHYY’s Sylvana acting as the initiator for the team and well-coordinated rotations that Bren Esports couldn’t keep up.

Alter Ego took down their first enemy turret, got nine kills, and was 3,000 gold ahead of Bren Esports just 5 minutes in the game. The game was over in less than 13 minutes.

Celiboy grabbed this match’s MVP with his Brody by getting 14 kills and 3 assists, while their initiator LEOMURPHYY got 2 kills and 13 assists.

Bren didn’t get the chance to fight back in the first match. Especially with how pushed back the members were, especially KARLTZY and his Benedetta going 0/6/0 while the rest only got one kill each.

Game 2:

In the second match, Bren Esports tried their best to stall out the game. They knew Alter Ego was good with team fights, and they want to keep that to a minimum until they can sort things out. Unfortunately, Alter Ego has more tricks up their sleeves.

Pai with his Khaleed kept bullying FlapTzy forcing him to use recall as early as 1 minute into the game giving Pai more time, exp, and gold advantage in the top lane.

LEOMURPHYY, with his Jawhead, baited Bren Esports into a team fight in the jungle, which resulted in four kills for Alter Ego. In less than 10 minutes, Alter Ego won the 2nd match with a 9,000 gold lead and 15 kills against Bren Esports, who only managed to get five kills by the end of the game.

Celiboy yet again earned the MVP title for this match with a 4/0/8 scoreline on his trusty Brody.

Game 3:

In the final match, Bren Esports secured the first blood in the mid lane and managed to get 2 kills in the first minute of the game. Although the early game looked to favor Bren Esports, Alter Ego fought back to even the odds with their impressive micros.

Alter Ego managed to secure the Lord at the 12-minute mark and cleared out the enemy top and mid turrets. Bren Esports managed to beat them back, but they simply could not fight back against Amhad’s Benedetta in the final match, conceding the game and the series.

Udil snatched this match’s MVP with a KDA of 4/1/17 using his Pharsa. A worthy title for someone who made some of the best plays for this match, especially with how he utilized his aegis and outplayed Ribo during the first 2 minutes of the game.

Alter Ego, was crowned the Champions with a clean 11 Wins and no losses, the Indonesian Powerhouse went undefeated the entire One Esports MPL Invitational Tournament and amazed the world. Celiboy earned the title of Tournament MVP with a total of 69 kills, 21 Deaths, and 74 assists out of all 11 games played.
