Players ask for PUBG Mobile Pakistan servers
Pakistani players are connecting to either the European or Singaporean PUBG Mobile servers to play the mobile game. Due to the distance from these servers, many players reported bad or laggy connections, making it a lot harder to play. Many players are appealing to PUBG Corp. to set up an official PUBG Mobile Pakistan server for local players.
This will help players get a lower ping while playing the game. As of now, there is no official announcement from PUBG Mobile about if and when they will launch a server. In July 2020, PUBG Mobile also started an official Discord server for the country.

PUBG Mobile’s run in Pakistan
PUBG Mobile got a temporary ban in Pakistan on July 2nd, 2020. The official reason cited was “that the game is addictive, wastage of time and poses a serious negative impact on the physical and psychological health of children.” The Pakistan Telecom Association also made claims that some aspects of the game were anti-Islam and even made note of a suicide that occurred in relation to the game. On July 25th, 2020, the Islamabad High Court ordered the government to lift the ban. However, the ban did some damage to Pakistani team FreeStyle’s chances during PMPL East 2020 as the team missed important days during the League stage.
The PUBG Mobile scene in Pakistan has also been dealing with a number of hacking allegations and disqualifications from major events like PMCO Fall Split and PMPC which led to several teams boycotting competitions.
