Nepalese team, Abrupt Slayers are your winners of the PMPL 2020: Fall Split South Asian finals. They were crowned as the champions after a fierce competition that saw the Top 16 PUBG Mobile teams from Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh, fighting it out for a $142,500 USD prize pool.


Abrupt Slayers’ Edge Out The Win At PMPL 2020 Fall Split: South Asia Finals

Abrupt Slayers managed to secure 212 points in the PMPL 2020 Fall Split: South Asia, primarily thanks to their strong start on Day 1 where they won three Chicken Dinners in a row to open up a massive lead in the finals. The rest of the teams were forced to play catch-up and never really had a good shot a winning the title.

Only fellow Nepalese team, DRS GAMING came close with 98 kills and 207 points. They had a big chance to steal the win in the final round of the tournament (Round 20) where Abrupt Slayers was eliminated in 16th position with only 1 kill against their name. However, DRS Gaming could only secure a 4th place finish which wasn’t enough to overtake Abrupt Slayers.

Bangladeshi team, A1 Esports was the third-place team at the PMPL 2020 Fall Split: South Asia with 91 kills and 189 points. These three teams have qualified for the upcoming PUBG Mobile Global Championships (PMGC) following their Top 3 finish.

DRS Nima won the MVP trophy for this tournament. His stellar performances saw him secure 30 Kills and secure two Chicken Dinners for DRS Gaming during the finals. He won $5000 USD as a result.

PMPL 2020 Fall Split: South Asia Teams Who Have Qualified For PMGC

The top 3 teams from the PMPL 2020 Fall Split: South Asia Finals who have qualified for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) are:

  • Abrupt Slayers
  • DRS Gaming
  • A1 Esports

The PMGC is a $2 Million USD tournament scheduled to take place from November 24th to December 20th, where the top 24 PUBG Mobile teams around the world will compete against each other.

The regular season of the PMPL 2020 Fall Split: South Asia concluded on 1st November. Deadeyes Guys won the league stage with 498 points. Team T2Ksg came second with 489 points and A1 Esports came in third. T2Ksg Jane was awarded the MVP of the league play with 85 kills, while Deadeyes Guys’ Rated came in second with 72 kills.
