Regional Slot Allocation For PMGC Revealed

PUBG Mobile just posted a big update on the PUBG Mobile Global Championships (PMGC). The tournament logo, sponsors, and most importantly the slot allocation for the PMGC were just revealed in this announcement. 

During the closing parts of this update, PUBG Corp. also stated that they have some more “Big News” to announce on November 24th.

Slot Allocation for PUBG Mobile Global Championships (PMGC) Revealed

Perhaps the biggest announcement which was unveiled today was the expansion of the number of teams we will be seeing at PMGC. The number of slots for the PUBG Mobile Global Championships was expanded from 20 to 24. As a result, there is are significant changes to slot allocation for this tournament.

Schedule and Format Of PUBG Mobile Global Championships League (PMGC League)

The tournament will take place on five days each week.

The first two days will see teams compete to qualify for that week’s Super Weekend which will take place over the course of the remaining three days. Only 16 teams out of 24 will qualify for the Super Weekend.

These 16 teams will battle it out to earn championship points. The top 16 teams with the most championship points will qualify for the PMGC finals after the conclusion of the league stage.

PUBG Mobile also teased viewers by stating that some big news was going to be revealed on November 24th.

Perhaps they will be revealing the above mention ‘Direct Invite’ for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship on this day. Considering the recent reports indicating PUBG Mobile’s Return to India, it really is not far fetched to think that an Indian team might receive this invite for the PUBG Mobile Global Championships.
