League of Legends: Wild Rift Coming To The New iPhone 12

In Apple’s latest event, the company launched a variety of products including the iPhone 12 and the Home Pod Mini. Another major announcement was League of Legend: Wild Rift coming to iPhone 12. With the iPhone 12’s A14 Bionic chip and 5G capabilities, Apple promises a great gaming experience with low latency and power consumption, smoother frames and more graphical fidelity. Michael Chow, executive producer at Riot Games, said players can expect "wicked fast speeds" with the iPhone 12. 

"The power of A14 Bionic chip literally blew us away. It allows us to show off champions like Ashe, with a brand new level of fidelity that you can't find on any other platform," Chow said. In addition, players can expect fluid gameplay and detail even during hectic team fights due to the improvements in GPU performance and FPS.

Wild Rift Closed Beta Expands To iOS Users

Riot initially conducted an Alpha test for their mobile game exclusively for Android devices. However, during their recently launched Closed Beta, the developer expanded testing to iOS devices. Players are able to sign up on the Wild Rift website for a chance at joining a small test for iOS devices, running alongside the Closed Beta. Players who are pre-registered for Wild Rift on the Play Store and App Store will be randomly selected in waves to gain access, with some content creators, media and VIPs directly invited when their regions come online. Currently, the minimum specification requirements for iOS devices is iPhone 6 and later. Players in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore currently have access to the game with Riot promising to add new regions soon.
