Riot is adding players from two more regions to the Wild Rift Closed Beta.
Riot is also introducing a Practice Mode which will allow players to test any champion and practice landing combos.
Some new features and champion tweaks are expected in upcoming updates.

Wild Rift’s Regional Closed Beta has officially returned on 8th October at 8:00 am PHT. More invites are being sent out to players in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, and players are also being added from South Korea and Japan. All other regions will be coming later. As of now, most of the regions in the test are geographically close to one another.

Riot Addresses Wild Rift Connectivity Issues And Game Times

The announcement came as part of a blog post titled 'Real Talk', wherein Brian “FeralPony” Feeney addressed a variety of issues connectivity issues in a recent update. Players have been reporting issues like latency and packet loss. How players connect through different providers vary wildly from region to region so Riot is upgrading their monitoring systems and are working directly with local ISPs to address and spot and fix issues as they arise. They are also currently working on a bug encountered by PowerVR Ge8320 GPU users where the game gets stuck at 100% on the loading screen. The team is currently working on a fix.

Also as part of the update, Riot said that it wants to keep Wild Rift’s game times short, to be played within a 30-minute period. For the core game itself, the developer is looking for 16-18 minutes playtime. Currently, some Wild Rift games are going on for longer than they’d like, so a few adjustments are incoming. The turret buff in the Alpha patch where turret health and armour/MR bonus was increased, may have affected game times.
