Call of Duty: Mobile is gearing up for its Season 11 update which coincides with Halloween and the game's first-anniversary update. The game’s 11th season is expected to arrive on 15th October, right when the Season 10 Hunt Battle Pass ends. Last year, Call of Duty: Mobile celebrated Halloween by releasing the stunning Standoff night map. Call of Duty: Mobile hinted on Twitter that the Standoff Halloween map would be returning for Season 11. Standoff is a nostalgic map for many Call of Duty players, so it makes sense for the developers to bring it back again this year.
The developers usually release a test server for the new season before launching the content in the global version. However, this time they’ve decided not to release the test server for Season 11, to keep the first-anniversary update a surprise for players.
What To Expect in Season 11 of Call of Duty: Mobile
In Season 11 Call of Duty: Mobile, players might get a ‘Night Mode’ for Battle Royale and Multiplayer. In the Season 10 community update on Reddit, the developers confirmed that they are indeed working on a Night mode for Call of Duty Mobile. The BR mode is also getting a new operator class called the Hacker. The Technogeek event will give players the chance to earn the Hacker class. The new class is aimed at disrupting enemies' special abilities and gadgets.
Data-miners have also found game files involving Richtofen, one of the four main characters in COD: Mobile Zombies. This along with the rumoured return of Rebirth Island which was a zombies map from the original Call of Duty Black Ops has led many to believe in a return of the beloved zombie game mode. Call of Duty Mobile may also get new playable characters like Frank Woods from Cold War, Alex Mason, Grigori Weaver and Bruce Harris from Black Ops and Dimitri Petrenko from World at War.
In a response to a Reddit query about any new weapons coming in, the guys over at Call of Duty: Mobile responded that there were multiple weapons coming in across various categories.
The following are some of the weapons that were found in the game files and might make their way into the Season 11 update:
- 48-Dredge LMG
- M249 SAW
There will be new perks introduced in the new season including Overkill, which lets players carry two primary weapons instead of a secondary weapon and Re-Stock which lets players replenish 1 extra Combat Axe. Equipment gets recharged after 20 seconds.
