Nova Esports Confirms Partnership With Godlike

• Nova Esports and Godlike announce partnership. 
• Nova Esports will provide salary and resources for a boot camp to the players. 

After weeks of teasing and waiting, Nova Esports has officially confirmed a partnership with Indian PUBG MOBILE organization, Godlike Esports. As per the announcement, Nova Esports will look after the player’s salaries, boot camp expenses and provide them with international exposure. The team will play under the tag Nova Godlike. The deal was facilitated by Trinity Gaming, an Indian company, specializing in mobile esports. 

Godlike Esports is currently owned by Indian content creator and professional player, Chetan ‘Kronten’ Chandgude and is one of the top teams in the South Asian region. The team recently qualified for the PUBG MOBILE World League Season Zero, after placing third in the PMPL South Asia League stage. While Kronten has teased that his organization is being picked up by an international organization for over a month now, this is the official confirmation of the same.

Godlike's owner, Kronten said “Clan Godlike started as a family and I am happy we have reached this milestone, looking forward to working with a global organization, it will give us a great exposure.”

Nova Esports is a Hong Kong based esports organization who are one of the few international organizations primarily focused on mobile.The team fields rosters in Clash Royale, Clash of Clans, PUBG MOBILE, Arena of Valor and League of Legends across various regions. The organization has teams in Latin America, China, Southeast Asia and even Europe. They will be the third major international organization to pick up a PUBG MOBILE roster in the South Asian region, following TSM and Fnatic.

Talking about the partnership, Nova Esports said “PUBG Mobile is currently trending in India, it has surpassed other games in terms of popularity and revenue and made a place for itself on Indian pop culture. We are looking forward to expand in India more after having the first taste of Indian Esports Culture.”
