Sticks And Stones Gamemode In Call of Duty: Mobile
One of the game’s rotating modes that was available till early February 2020 was Sticks and Stones. In this mode players could only use melee weapons like knives and axes to eliminate enemies. The main objective of Sticks and Stones is to be the first to eliminate 20 enemies and win the match. There were a total of 8 players per lobby in this mode. Call of Duty series fans might well recognise Sticks and Stones. The mode first appeared in the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, and made its return in Black Ops 4 last year. Now, it’s the latest classic mode to come to Call of Duty: Mobile. The Sticks and Stones mode doesn’t feature the normal Create-A-Class options. Instead, players have a preset loadout which includes a Crossbow, a Combat Axe, and a Ballistic Knife.
Using these weapons, they need to eliminate other players and reach a point total to win the match. While scoring kills with any weapon will net you points, Combat Axe kills have an added effect. If you kill a player with a Combat Axe, which is arguably the toughest method to score a kill in Sticks and Stones, that unfortunate victim’s score will be erased, knocking them all the way to the bottom of the scoreboard. Perhaps Call of Duty: Mobile will bring the game mode back in rotation in subsequent seasons.
