The League is back in 2021 with a prize pool of INR 1,500,000 ($20,700), making it one of the biggest esports events of this year in India. Some of the best Valorant players in the country will be participating in the event including players from Team Mahi and Global Esports. The Skyesports League 2021 is one of the more unique Valorant tournaments in the country considering that the tournament is based on a franchise system where players for each team will be allotted via an auction. This player auction will take place online on March 31.

One of the franchise teams competing in this event, the Chennai Clutchers, which will be representing Tamil Nadu, has also partnered with AGS Cinemas, an Indian theater chain. The AMD Ryzen Skyesports League 2021 will kick off on April 9, 2021
