UK based esports organization Guild Esports affiliated with David Beckham which is headquartered in London entered VALORANT with an all-Swedish lineup. They successfully signed the VALORANT lineup of Bonk as they have been showing great consistency in recent tournaments.
Guild Esports Enters VALORANT
The lineup consists of a great mix of young and experienced players with former NiP Counter-Strike players Yacine “Yacine” Laghmari and William “draken” Sundin part of the lineup alongside others like Leo "ziz" Jannesson, Malkolm "bonkar" Rench, and Filip “goffe” Gauffin.
Together this lineup has shown great consistency claiming the runners-up position in multiple European tournaments like LVL Clash 2, Allied Esports Odyssey - Qualifier #2, Mandatory.gg Cup, and more. They always seem to reach the finals of different tournaments but a victory seems to avoid them, maybe things will change for the better under the new banner.
Having signed this Swedish lineup Guild Esports has announced that they will be participating in the upcoming First Strike tournament which is scheduled to start in the month of November. The lineup will surely be a team to look out for especially if they maintain their current form moving ahead.
Guild Esports already fields a team in Rocket League and Fifa, this is their first foray into a PC shooter. Carleton Curtis, Executive Chairman at Guild says that “With these signings, Guild has established itself as a multi-disciplinary esports business and we are looking forward to fielding rosters in new games as we continue to scale and invest in our business utilizing the war chest we raised in our IPO.”
Let’s see how Guild Esports new VALORANT roster performs in the coming months. Do they finally manage to win a tournament or does the string of second-place finishes continue to haunt them!
