  • Pro-turned-Twitch-streamer xQc gets banned for showing an explicit meme of a gorilla on stream.

Twitch star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has been banned from the platform for a third time on an explicit content charge. The former Overwatch pro has been one of the top streamers on Twitch for a while now but is known for his notorious behaviour.

He was banned showing a sexually explicit image of a gorilla, he said on Twitter. The incident occurred on 11th June, causing Twitch to take his channel down.

xQc's channel will remain banned till 12th June. Explicit content or activities are not allowed on the platform according to Twitch's Community Guidelines. This is most probably the reason behind the ban. Unlike what many in the community think, xQc was not taken down due to DMCA.

xQc was a professional Overwatch player. He played the Main Tank position for the Dallas Fuel in the Overwatch League for part of its inaugural season before switching to streaming on Twitch.
