  • LCS host Ovilee May steps down from broadcast team, says she will continue to make content with Riot.

LCS host and interviewer Ovilee May will not be rejoining the League’s official broadcast for the LCS Summer Split 2020. The announcement comes less than a week before the start of the Split.

“I’m very sad to announce that I will not be a part of the LCS broadcast for the Summer Split”. I’ve spent the last few years connecting you and your favourite players after every single LCS game and hopefully have been able to bring some personality and a little bit of fun into the broadcast.” Ovilee said in a video she tweeted.

She calls the move a "blessing in disguise," saying she now will have more time for content and will continue her work with Riot Games' production team. She also has announced that another project is on the way but did not disclose additional details.

Ovilee has been with Riot’s broadcast team as a host and interviewer for almost 3 years, starting out in 2017. During this time she has covered and hosted LCS and other international events.
