  • Riot announces a global Livestream event on Friday, May 8th.

League of Legends fans from around the world cast their votes in January 2020 for the champion they wanted to see receive a visual gameplay update this year. The numbers came in with the winners of the champion update fan vote being Fiddlesticks and Volibear. After Fiddle’s rework, Riot has announced a global Livestream event on Friday, May 8 at 8 PM Pacific Time for the Volibear’s update.

n the polls, Fiddlesticks ended with 24.42% of the vote, while Volibear received 24.69%. Shyvana came in third place, followed by Nocturne and Dr. Mundo in fourth and fifth respectively. Because Fiddlesticks and Volibear were so close in votes, Riot Games has decided to start both champions’ VGUs for 2020.

Riot had dropped hints of the champion update in their League of Legends 2020 season teaser video and the bear has never looked better.
