  • Cyberpunk announced a new event called Night City Wire
  • Possible replacement for E3 2020 announcement

A new event called Night City Wire has been announced with no details so far aside from its name and date. The one mentioned in the tweet, 11th June, coincides with what would have been the cancelled E3 2020.  This indicates that Cyberpunk creator CD Projekt Red will probably use it to for some announcements similar to the ones at E3.

Cyberpunk 2077’s E3 previous exhibition is the stuff of legends, with the appearance of Keanu Reeves both on stage and in the trailer spawning countless memes including the unforgettable “You’re breathtaking”.

Before that, we had been teased with first looks at Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay and CGI trailers. E3 2020 was set to be Cyberpunk 2077's last appearance before its release, so CD Projekt Red definitely had more plans to release content before the worldwide lockdown led to the cancellation of the event.
