TNC Predator may not have gotten off to a flying start at the WePlay AniMajor group stage but in its first series on the second day, the Filipinos showcased class to dominate beastcoast and take a secure a 2-0 victory. In the process of asserting its dominance in the second game of the series, TNC Predator’s safelaner,  Kim "Gabbi" Villafuerte, pulled off a breathtaking Rampage on Phantom Assassin. TNC was already in the lead in the game, and in the bid to take this momentum further and end it, Gabbi pounced on his enemies like a madman and took down enemy by enemy with some fortunate Coup De Grace Crits.

Gabbi goes ham on his safe lane Phantom Assassin to secure a rampage against beastcoast

After a rough day 1 of the WePlay AniMajor group stage, TNC entered day 2 with a 1-3 match win-loss record. The Filipinos needed to step up their game if they had to stay away from tournament elimination. They did improve from the first day as in its first match of the second day against beastcoast, TNC cruised to victory with some aggressive gameplay.

In the second game, TNC once again got off to a decent start to establish a strong lead. With superior teamfight positioning and execution, the Filipinos were on track to secure an easy victory in game 2 as well. Not only did they effectively do it, but Gabbi also flexed his carry potential with a spectacular Rampage.

With an empowered Cleave from Boomy’s Magnus, Gabbi was positioned near the Tier 2 tower of beastcoast. Even though he had only 50% HP, Gabbi was aware of what his hero could bring to the table. Courtesy of the ‘refreshes cooldowns on hero kill’ feature of Phantom Assassin’s Aghanim’s Scepter, he was able to on to one hero, slay him, and then onto another. Gabbi also got some timely Crits from his Ultimate ability as he killed five heroes in the blink of an eye.

Armel, in the end, stole the double Rampage from his safelaner as TNC team wiped the enemies. With no buybacks available for beastcoast, TNC quickly went on to end the game in 25 minutes. The execution of the teamfight, not just in this fight but throughout the two games, was excellent by TNC Predator.
