WePlay AniMajor: Group Stage Schedule and Other Details
- The BO2 round-robin group stage comprising Nigma, Team Liquid, beastcoast, Vici Gaming, EG, TNC Predator, Spirit and PSG.LGD will be held from June 4-7, 2021.
- A total of 28 series will be played between these eight teams in the WePlay AniMajor group stage following which six teams will move to the playoffs while the remaining two get eliminated.

After an exciting series of matches in the wild card of the WePlay AniMajor, we now have the two teams that will be qualifying for the group stage. Vici Gaming and Nigma outperformed all other teams, as they showed the most consistent and comprehensive performances in a very competitive wild card round. Vici Gaming and Nigma now join six other teams in the group stage. The BO2 round-robin group stage will be held from June 4-7, 2021. Format
- 8 teams BO2 round-robin.
- The top two teams from the Group Stage will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs.
- The 3rd to 6th placed teams will advance to the lower bracket of the playoffs.
- The bottom two teams will get eliminated.

Playoffs: June 9th - June 13th, 2021
12 teams will compete in the double-elimination playoffs. All matches except for the Grand Finals will be BO3s. The Grand Finals will be a BO5 series.
It has already been a mind-blowing experience to witness top-tier Dota 2 action in the wild card of the WePlay AniMajor. In contrast to the Singapore Major wild card, which was quite one-sided, AniMajor's wild card has proven to be extremely competitive. With Execration, AS Monaco Gambit, Team Secret, and Invictus Gaming out, the remaining 14 teams will now be competing for the lion’s share of the $500,00 USD prize pool and 2700 DPC points. While the teams are currently practicing in the hotel rooms, the playoffs are expected to take place at the WePlay Esports Arena in Kyiv, Ukraine.
At the end of the WePlay AniMajor, we will have the final list of 12 teams that receive a direct invite to TI10.
