Popular NA streamer, Mason, broke his monitor on his Twitch livestream in a flash of rage. On his first game on the May 8, 2021 livestream, Mason "mason" Venne, seemed to be quite annoyed with his position five player in a pub match. As he was explaining his Twitch chat about how “bad” these players were, he suddenly, in a fit of anger, threw a glass piece towards his monitor that broke a part of it. This is not the first time that Mason has not been able to control his temper on livestream and as a result, broken his monitor. A similar type of incident had occurred in 2020 where he had smashed his screen after losing a teamfight in a pub match.

Mason has always been known for his antics and bizarre speeches on his Twitch livestreams and this unique streaming style has garnered him a number of viewers over time. Despite being quite popular, he has a tendency to be straightforward and cold to his viewers and teammates.

In a recent streaming session, he was playing Riki in the safe lane with a position five Witch Doctor. After the latter died a couple of times in the lane, Mason was livid as he started hurling abuses at players like his teammate while speaking to his Twitch chat. Then in the next moment, Mason’s monitor had been broken, courtesy of him throwing a glass piece at it, assuming to be a plastic bottle.

“I don’t know why they are so f***ing bad. This Tiny (opponent position four player) is playing like absolute sh** too. He is not playing well. Neither of them is playing good Dota yet Witch Doctor has two deaths. I don’t get it. He’s so f***ing bad. It’s just insane how stupidly f***ing terrible these people are.

You. You play every day. I don’t get it, man. Oh my god, I just broke my monitor. (silence). I can’t believe I did it again. I can’t believe I did it again, man. Dude, I didn’t even mean to throw… To be fair, this one makes sense. What I just threw is glass actually. Oh my god, I should have known. That was glass. I thought it was a plastic bottle.”

Mason was also annoyed to this extent as he stated that he had started streaming after a break but he found his teammates in the pub matches to be still playing “bad.”

The NA streamer usually begins streaming late in the night or early in the morning (for SEA's timezones). While he is a regular Twitch streamer now, he has previously played for some of the top Dota 2 teams like Evil Geniuses in 2014, Digital Chaos in 2017, and Infamous in 2019.
