TNC Predator has kickstarted its SEA 2021 DPC Season 2: Upper Division campaign with a comprehensive 2-0 victory over Execration. TNC Predator looked clean and crisp in their gameplay today as they ousted Execration, who were seemingly already troubled by internet problems. This was the TNC’s first DPC series after the addition of Bok and Boomy in the offlane and the position five role respectively. The team had arrived into the regional league after a successful showing in the Predator League 2020/21 where they had defeated OB.Neon in the grand finals. Armel and his teammates now have a week off before they play their next DPC series against Omega Esports on April 21, 2021.

TNC Predator outshine Execration to win debut series in the SEA 2021 DPC Season 2

While Omega Esports clinched the victory in the first Upper Division series of the day, TNC Predator competed against Execration in the second one.

Game 1 witnessed nonstop teamfights as TNC Predator was able to come out ahead in them. The game was massively interrupted by disconnects from Execration’s side that seemingly impacted the flow of the game. Though Execration put up strong fights in small patches, TNC was the better team throughout as they won the game in 34 minutes.

Game 2 saw a relatively closer contest in the first 25 minutes. Both teams played incredibly well around their hero timings and ability cooldowns. But with Gabbi’s Luna scaling better into the late game with a support Io, TNC Predator always had the upper hand as they eventually closed out the game in 39 minutes.

TNC Predator look to be adjusting to their new squad well and are on track for a successful DPC season. However, they are yet to enter the fray against their toughest rivals - Fnatic, OB.Neon and T1 so their upcoming matches are expected to be exciting ones.

On the other hand, Execration could not replicate their performances from the previous season when they had pulled off an upset by beating TNC. With a changed roster on deck, they will look to regroup and amend their plans before they play their next series against BOOM Esports on April 15, 2021.

Armel talks about Fnatic’s early exit from the Singapore Major

TNC’s midlaner, Armel Paul "Armel" Tabios, talked about Fnatic’s early exit from the ONE Esports Singapore Major. Armel mentioned that he did not expect that Fnatic would be knocked out “right away.”

“I didn’t really expect Fnatic to get eliminated right away and maybe there is some hope. In SEA they performed really good. I don’t know about Fnatic, what’s gonna happen to them. Maybe Fnatic (on the team he is looking forward to playing the most). We want to get our revenge from the last season.”
