OG vs Brame: Match Recap and Highlights

The EU 2021 DPC Season 2: Upper Division kickstarted on April 14, 2021, with two series - Tundra Esports vs Hellbear Smashers and OG vs Brame. While Tundra won the initial series, OG played their first series after ana’s return.

Game 1 saw Brame playing aggressively in the early stages of the game as they had ramped up a 5K lead at 24 minutes with Aegis secured on their carry Ursa. However, they dived too deep in an attempt to kill ana’s Juggernaut which led to the turnaround. OG’s greedy draft then paid off as they played incredibly well around their Ultimates to hand Brame a loss in the first game in 38 minutes.

Game 2 witnessed a typical OG performance as they were focused more on fountain farming rather than taking objectives. Ana dived into Brame’s fountain multiple times even without securing Megacreeps as OG was too confident that they had the game in the bag. The enemy safelaner tried to make a comeback with a Divine Rapier but OG’s humorous yet effective gameplay won them the game in 39 minutes.

The two-time TI champions were in Brame’s face almost throughout the series and looked as if they making a statement with their constant Fountain diving and extremely aggressive plays. On the other hand, Brame looked good in small patches but was never able to match the pace of their enemies, eventually losing the series 2-0.
