ONE Esports Singapore Major posters and images have been spotted on local buses near the venue. These were shared by a Reddit user, u/Apocsky_, who stated “With live audience disallowed, I almost forgot that Singapore Major was happening soon until this bus ad reminded me.” Valve and ONE Esports are seemingly advertising the Major to bring online viewership as they had communicated earlier that the tournament will be held behind closed doors. In addition to the logo of the tournament, the posters showcased heroes like Crystal Maiden, Riki and Sven on the buses.
Despite international LAN events and DPC tournaments returning after a long hiatus, fans will, unfortunately, have to wait for now to watch their favorite players live in action. However, they are still much excited for the first DPC Major after DreamLeague S13 in January 2020, as the top 18 teams from various regions are going to clash in a battle of the best. The wild card is scheduled for March 27-28, the group stage for March 29-30 and the playoffs for March 31 - April 4. The DPC tournament will feature a total of $500,000 USD in prize money and 2,700 DPC points that will be split among the top eight teams only. The champion of the tournament will be taking home a sum of $200,000 and 500 points.
