  • RAMZES666 and Solo's new stack, Dota Team, has disbanded after playing just a single tournament, EPIC League S3.
  • The team finished in the 7th-8th position in Division 1 of the tournament, taking home a sum of $6,000 USD.
  • It is unclear at the moment if RAMZES666 will be joining Solo in the latter's NoTechies roster that is expected to participate in the CIS 2021 DPC Season 1: Lower Division.

RAMZES666 and Solo will no longer be playing with their new Dota 2 stack, Dota Team. According to a report from cybersport.ru, one of the team’s representatives stated that the team has disbanded after getting eliminated from the EPIC League S3. Dota Team finished in the 7th-8th position in Division 1 of the tournament, taking home a sum of $6,000 USD. This disbandment had already been predicted by Na'Vi's midlaner, Bogdan "Iceberg" Vasilenko, as he had talked about this on Twitch livestream. He stated that Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev and Alexey "Solo" Berezin had told him that they have no intention of playing with Dota Team in the future and were playing in the ongoing EPIC League S3 only because they were tired of playing pubs. The two former Russian players are yet to issue a statement on this matter.

RAMZES666 and Solo’s Dota Team Will Not Play Together

The team was announced just before their first match in the EPIC League S3 group stage by Epicenter, the organizer behind the tournament, who stated that Dota Team would be replacing “NoTechies” which was the name of Solo’s team at the CIS 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division. However, the players seem to have parted ways after playing together in just one tournament.

The roster initially included MiLAN and Malik in the position four and position three roles respectively. However, they were replaced by KingR and nongrata in the group stage itself.

Dota Team's disbanded roster at the end of EPIC League:

  1. Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev
  2. Rostislav "fn" Lozovoi
  3. Alexey "nongrata" Vasilyev
  4. Alexey "Solo" Berezin
  5. Rinat "KingR" Abdullin

The disbandment of this new stack marks the end of another unsuccessful short stint for the former Virtus.pro players, RAMZES666 and Solo, as they have played in a couple of temporary squads in the past few months.

Before Dota Team. RAMZES666 was last seen playing Dota 2 competitively in December 2020 with Just Error. Despite having some of the most accomplished Dota 2 players on deck, the squad, similar to the current Dota team, disbanded after playing just a single tournament, EPIC League S2. He then surprisingly went on to miss the entire first season of the DPC.

On the other hand, Solo was able to assemble a new roster, “NoTechies” after Just Error’s disbandment. However, the veteran CIS player had a tough time in the CIS 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division as they finished last. All the NoTechies roster members except Solo have now left the team as per Valve’s Majors Registration Page.

Since only Solo stays on the roster of NoTechies and the team is set to play in the Lower Division in the next season, we may see RAMZES666 join him again with a set of new players. The two players also did not compete in the open qualifier of the CIS DPC S2, so that increases the likelihood of their reunion in NoTechies
