Iceiceice Ranks SEA Dota 2 Players by Role

Iceiceice, in a Twitch livestream on March 8, 2021, rated the top SEA Dota 2 players according to the role they usually occupy in professional games. He took into account all the SEA players that have been to a TI, a Major and the ones that are currently on a team and then placed them into various tiers. S-tier was the highest and the top-rated while G-tier was the lowest one in most of these lists. Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang’s rankings were based on his own opinion and he considered only those SEA players who have been competing in SEA and China. (MidOne and Dubu not rated)

Iceiceice rates the top SEA Dota 2 players

Position 1 / Carry:

Iceiceice did not rate Natsumi- because he had very little idea about how he played. 

Position 2 / Midlaner:

Despite inYourdream's recent stint with ZeroTwo as a support player, the Indonesian has mostly played as the midlaner and the carry in his career.

Position 3 / Offlaner:

Iceiceice mistakenly put 'G' tier before the 'E' one but he meant Deth is at a tier below kYxY, Ohaiyo and Sam_H. He also did know much about Bok's playstyle and performances so was not rated. 

Position 4 / Soft Support:

According to iceiceice, PlayHard is much better at the position four as compared to the offlaner role. PlayHard's teammate in Neon Esports, Natsumi- had also stated after the Neon vs T1 tiebreaker than skem and PlayHard preferred switching role because PlayHard was not confident in the offlaner role. DJ who currently plays as the position five player for Fnatic as Jabz has taken the position four role, is rated 'SS' tier by iceiceice when he plays as the soft support player.

Position 5 / Hard Support:

Jaunuel was not rated as iceiceice did not have much knowledge about this playstyle. 

The Singaporean will be competing in the upcoming ONE Esports Singapore Major (March 27 - April 4, 2021) with his team, Evil Geniuses. They have already secured a Major playoffs berth and will be seen in action from March 31, 2021.
