  • RAMZES666 returns to competitive Dota 2 with "Dota Team" alongside former Virtus.pro and Just Error teammate, Solo.
  • The other three members of the team are midlaner, fn, positive four, MiLAN and offlaner, Malik.
  • The team will be playing in the ongoing EPIC League S3 and has its first match scheduled against Team Spirit.

RAMZES666 has made a comeback into the Dota 2 professional circuit with a team named “Dota Team.” The CIS star carry player will be playing alongside former Virtus.pro and Just Error teammate, Alexey "Solo" Berezin, at the EPIC League S3. This was announced by the Epicenter, the organizer behind the tournament, who stated that Dota Team would be replacing “NoTechies” which was the name of Solo’s team at the CIS 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division. Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev will play his first competitive Dota 2 match after being out of action for nearly three months.

“Dota Team” Featuring RAMZES666 and Solo to Debut in EPIC League S3

RAMZES666’s return to the competitive scene comes at a time when Dota 2 fans were already speculating about his new team. His new squad, “Dota Team'' now features some of the finest free agents in the professional scene.

  1. Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev
  2. Rostislav "fn" Lozovoi
  3. Abdimalik "Malik" Sajlau (sits on the inactive roster of EXTREMUM)
  4. Milan "MiLAN" Kozomara
  5. Alexey "Solo" Berezin

While fn last played for Live to Win (now AS Monaco Gambit) at the CIS 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division, MiLAN’s last stint came with mudgolems (now Tundra Esports) from September to December 2020. Solo and Malik had been playing in their stack “NoTechies” at the DPC league.

RAMZES666 was last seen playing Dota 2 competitively in December 2020 with Just Error. The squad, with storied players like SumaiL, No[o]ne, and Solo was expected to become a powerhouse in the EU/CIS region, surprisingly disbanded after playing just a single tournament, EPIC League S2.

In January 2021, there were rumors that RAMZES666 and SumaiL had assembled a team for the 2021 DPC Season 1 but had unfortunately failed to register it in time. Then recently, reports suggested that the CIS player would soon be revealing his new team alongside another former Virtus.pro ally, 9pasha, and fn.

A part of this rumor has become true as “Dota Team” is all set to play its first match against Team Spirit in the EPIC League S3. It still remains to be seen if RAMZES666 is going to participate with this team in the 2021 DPC Season 2 as well. The tournament will perhaps be a trial for the squad as they might stick for the DPC season if they can secure a victory in this tournament.
