They also mentioned in a blog related to this incident on their website that they had “started to investigate the case together with ESIC, and VALVE has been informed.” As a result of this decision, all of Meta4Pro’s matches have been voided. Though all of Meta4Pro’s matches have been voided, they had already been unable to win a single series in the five series they had played until now. This also means that their remaining series between Brame and Creepwave stay canceled, handing both these teams a default win.

As a result of this withdrawal, there will not be any change in the format of the EU 2021 DPC Season 1: Lower Division. Meta4Pro is one of the bottom two teams in the tournament that get eliminated.

Meta4Pro spoke about this incident on their VK handle, stating that they were suspicious of some of their players and hence decided to withdraw from the competition.

“Meta4Pro leaves DreamLeague DPC S14 EU Lower Division

This decision was made by the team management after the last two meetings with the teams Hippomaniacs and Burjui. We have reason to believe that some of the players played dishonestly and possibly involved in 322 stories.

We do not want to give specific names and nicknames now, since there is no 100% confirmation from the commission that this is really so. Work to identify the violation is underway and will be completed in the near future."
