Team Secret to represent EU at ONE Esports Dota 2 Singapore Major 2021
Team Secret was considered to be the top contender to reach the Major from EU and has done so by becoming the first team to qualify from any region, on the back of multiple immaculate Dota 2 performances.
They have lost only two matches in the five series' played till now and remain undefeated overall, securing a win in each series. They beat Tundra Esports 2-1, Vikin.gg 2-0, Team Nigma 2-0, Team Liquid 2-0 and most recently Alliance 2-1.
Team Secret’s performances have been sheer masterclass since the start of 2020. They opened up the year with a victory in the DreamLeague S13 Major and then went on to win a total of eight online tournaments including the OMEGA League: Europe Immortal Division and the BEYOND EPIC: Europe/CIS. In fact, all of these eight victories were so one-sided that they won each grand finals series 3-0.
Courtesy of their domination in the EU Dota 2 circuit throughout 2020, they were declared as the ‘Esports Team of the Year’ by Esports Awards 2020.
