Week 3 recap of 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division

1. Southeast Asia (SEA)

Neon Esports remains unconquered in the SEA 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division with four wins in four series. In all likelihood, the Filipino squad only requires one more win out of their remaining three series to qualify to the first Major of the season. On the other side, Fnatic lost their first series of the tournament to BOOM Esports and are placed at the number two spot. TNC Predator, T1, and BOOM Esports occupy the next spots with two wins in four series.

2. Europe (EU)

Team Secret, who is at the zenith of EU Dota 2, is unconquered in the EU 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division as they have won all of their four series. For Team Liquid fans, the team had a disastrous week as they lost both of their series against Team Secret and Tundra Esports and now find themselves dropping down to the sixth spot in the points table. Team Nigma as well, lost two series in the third week and fell down to the fifth spot. However, the EU DPC in general is quite competitive as all teams are still in close range of each other.

Team Aster and Invictus Gaming are undefeated in the China 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division with three wins in three series. Following them is Vici Gaming at the third spot, who was handed a big upset by Invictus Gaming but were able to bounce back against EHOME to register their third series victory. PSG.LGD and Elephant are both struggling with two wins in four series. As for EHOME, the departure of Sccc earlier last months seems to have taken a toll on their performance as they are in the bottom half in the points table.

Quincy Crew has also won all of their series in the tournament as they easily took down A-Team in the third week. While EG and Quincy Crew are being widely considered as the teams that move to the Major from NA, Sadboys, Undying or 4 Zoomers could potentially replace either of the two.
