2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division is getting a lot more intense and competitive as every team is toiling hard to occupy the top spots which secure them a spot in the first Major. Week 2 (January 25-31) for both the Lower as well as the Upper Division concluded yesterday as we witnessed many qualified teams putting up a formidable showing against the top-tier directly invited teams. As the teams in 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division are gearing up for a vital third week, we take a look at what exactly panned out after the second week and where the teams in each region are currently placed on the points table.

Week 2 recap of 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division
1. Southeast Asia (SEA)
Neon Esports is the undisputed leader of the SEA 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division after the second week, having won all of its three series. Fnatic’s boat is sailing smoothly as they sit on the number two spot with two wins in two series. After losing against Fnatic, Kuku’s T1 squad closed out a grueling series against 496 Gaming by making a comeback against megacreeps. The most surprising result after the second week’s conclusion is that of TNC Predator, who is struggling with two losses in three series and is yet to play against the strong teams of Fnatic and T1.

OG continues its style of drafting bizarre hero combinations, and weird item builds as they are on the fourth spot in the table.

At the same time, the two top contenders to win the tournament, Vici Gaming and PSG.LGD, are both displaying top-notch gameplay and find themselves in the top four of the points table. Invictus Gaming and Team Aster are certainly the overwhelming surprises as they are undefeated with wins against the best teams in the tournament.

Ppd’s Sadboys lost to Evil Geniuses but won against A-Team while 4 Zoomers lost to the two toughest opponents in the tournament, Quincy Crew and EG. NA, like CIS, has expected results after the conclusion of the second week.
