Kuku And Whitemon Round Out T1’s Dota 2 Roster
Through their social media handles, the Korean organization announced that Kuku and Whitemon were included in their Dota 2 roster.
The two players stood in for T1 at BTS Pro Series S4 in December 2020, where the team stood third. Then, at the beginning of January 2021, T1 added the two players to their roster as per Valve’s Majors Registration Page. However, they did not make any announcements on their social media handles, confirming the signings. Finally, the Korean organization has confirmed its acquisition.

T1’s Roster for the upcoming DPC 2021 season:
- Zulia “JaCkky” Khoomfetsavong
- Karl “Karl” Jame
- Carlo “Kuku” Palad
- Kenny “Xepher” Deo
- Matthew “Whitemon” Filmon
The squad apparently can be termed as ex-Geek Fam plus one as all of Karl, Kuku, Xepher, and Whitemon were a part of the Geek Fam roster that had to, unfortunately, disband in September 2020. JaCkky had been a part of the Motivate.Trust Gaming squad that was making wonders in the SEA scene with consecutive wins at BTS Pro Series S3 and DOTA Summit 13 Online: SEA.
Kuku and Whitemon are replacing Sam_H and Poloson, respectively, in the team. While Sam_H did not take part in the qualifiers for the ongoing 2021 DPC season and thus will not be competing in the first season of the event, Poloson made a stack with inYourdreaM and Dreamocel, ZeroTwo, and is competing in the Lower Division of the tournament.
Although not communicated as of now, Kuku will likely be captaining the squad considering his experience. Not to forget, the team is also under the mentorship one of the best pros in the SEA Dota 2 scene, March, who had joined the organization in November 2020.
