EHOME Bids Adieu To their Carry, Sccc

EHOME initially revealed on the Chinese blogging website, Weibo, that their carry player, Sccc had departed from the squad. The reason for this move was not fully revealed but the organization mentioned that they respected the player’s “wishes and personal development needs.” Further, they stated that the contract between the two parties had been terminated peacefully and that Sccc was a free agent.

Image Via Weibo (EHOME E-sports Club)Sccc had joined EHOME in September 2020 and has left the org in just four months. He played six tournaments with the team, where they had decent results. They placed second at China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 1 and CDA-FDC Professional Championship Season 2 and had two third-place finishes as well.

However, it seems as the player chose to depart from the team after it was directly invited to Upper Division of Chinese DPC Regional League S1. While Sccc is now without a team, EHOME has already found the replacement of their carry player.

EHOME Welcomes Ahjit As Its New Carry Player

Malaysian carry player, Ahjit, must be overwhelmed with happiness as he has seemingly got a golden opportunity by joining EHOME. All teams that contest in various divisions and qualifiers had already been determined and this addition comes when the Malaysian did not have a full roster.

Ahjit had a contract with LGD.International and last played for the organization in June 2020. He competed at the Perfect World Dota2 League tournaments in November-December 2020 alongside the blacklisted Ex-Newbee players, Wizard, Waixi, and Aq who were all recently banned from all Valve events including the DPC.

EHOME’s Roster for DPC 2021 S1:

  1. Lai "Ahjit" Jay Son
  2. Guo “Xm” Hongcheng
  3. Yang “Chalice“‘ Shenyi
  4. Pan “Fade” Yi
  5. Jian Wei “xNova” Yap

It is certainly a very saddening piece of news for Sccc and his fans as the veteran will now be away from competitive action for nearly four months unless a team decides to take him in as a replacement. For EHOME, they will look to give their best at the Upper Division which begins on January 18.
