Here Are The 8 Teams In The Upper Division of DPC-SEA 2021 S1
  • Fnatic, TNC Predator, BOOM Esports and T1 are the directly invited teams to Upper Division.
  • Neon Esports, 496 Gaming, Execration and Vice Esports qualified from Stage 1 of the closed qualifier to get to the Upper Division.
  • The Upper Division of SEA-DPC 2021 S1 begins on January 18.

With the culmination of Stage 1 of the closed qualifier, the Upper Division of the 2021 DPC season 1 in the SEA region has finally determined its eight teams. While the first four were directly invited, the remaining half that includes 496 Gaming, Neon Esports, Execration and Vice Esports has been decided by this Stage 1.

The first season of the Regional League is about to kickstart in a couple of weeks and we have found out our top eight teams that will be playing in the Upper Division in SEA.

Qualified Teams

1. Neon Esports

The squad from the Philippines was one of the first two teams to reach the Upper Division from Stage 1 of the closed qualifier. They comprehensively defeated Omega Esports and Vice Esports 2-0 to qualify to the Upper Division.

2. 496 Gaming

The boys from Vietnam defeated Team SMG and Execration in Stage 1 of the closed qualifier to reach the Upper Division.

  3. Nguyễn "Red" Tiến Phát

3. Execration

Execration fell down to the lower bracket after losing to 496 Gaming but then came back to defeat Omega Esports in Stage 1 of the closed qualifier to reach the Upper Division.

4.Vice Esports

Another team from the Philippines, Vice Esports lost to Neon Esports and fell down to the Lower Bracket. They then defeated Galaxy Racer in Stage 1 of the closed qualifier to reach the Upper Division.

The Upper Division will be kickstarting its first set of series on January 18. Four other teams in Stage 1 of the closed qualifier are Team SMG, Omega Esports, Galaxy Racer and Cignal Ultra will now battle it out with eight teams from the open qualifiers in Stage 2. Out of these 12 teams, eight will make it to the Lower Division that is also scheduled to begin on January 18.
