It looks like Carlo "Kuku" Palad has found his new home as the Filipino juggernaut has been added to T1 as per Valve’s Dota 2 Pro Circuit Registration page. This change comes after he played for T1 in BTS Pro Series S4 as a stand-in where they stood third. Along with him, Matthew "Whitemon" Filemon has also been added to the team.

Kuku and Whitemon Get Added to T1 As Per Valve’s Majors Registration Page
T1, after their inception into the Dota 2 domain last year, had assembled some of the veterans of the scene and looked to have a healthy future. However, the team could not deliver the desired performances and has been undergoing several roster changes over the months. The organization surprised everybody in October 2020 when it picked up March as a head coach. Over time, they went further renovation as they welcomed 11K MMR player, Karl and removed inYourdreaM, Jhocam and coach MP. Motivate.Trust Gaming’s in-form carry player, JaCkky and ex-Geek Fam’s support, Xepher joined the team later and just recently, Sam_H and Poloson parted ways with the organization.
Arguably the biggest of these roster changes will be Kuku and Whitemon getting added, according to Valve’s Major Registration page. Both these players stood in for the team at BTS Pro Series S4.

Whitemon is a talented addition to this group as the support player has looked spectacular in his short career in Tier 1 SEA teams. With his addition, four ex-Geek Fam players now form a part of this T1 squad, including Kuku, Xepher, Whitemon, and Karl.
T1’s Roster for the upcoming DPC 2021 season:
- Zulia “JaCkky” Khoomfetsavong
- Karl “Karl” Jame
- Carlo “Kuku” Palad
- Kenny “Xepher” Deo
- Matthew “Whitemon” Filmon
After Poloson’s departure, there is a high chance that Kuku will be the captain of the team. T1, with this change, will have a set of five new but experienced and talented group of individuals under the mentorship of one of the finest in the region, March. Considering the team has received a direct invite to the SEA Upper Division in the Regional League, they look to be on track to challenge the likes of TNC and Fnatic at this DPC season, which begins on January 18.
T1 is yet to announce the addition of both these players officially.
