NiP Responds To Reports On Them Signing The mudgolems Roster
NiP had on November 30 shut down their Dota 2 division citing the financial struggles caused by the ongoing health crisis and the delay of the DPC. They had stated that they will make a return to the Dota 2 competitive scene once they find the right opportunity after rethinking their targeted region and strategy.

Now today, a report from metarating.ru stated that they had been negotiating with Fata and co. in a deal that would see mudgolems play under the Ninjas In Pyjamas banner.
We reached out to NiP asking for their comments about this report. Chief Operation Officer of Ninjas In Pyjamas, Jonas Gundersen, replied by indicating that the organization might consider picking up another Dota 2 roster.,
“We just released a roster who have been fighting bravely under the NiP banner, and that takes a while to process. But as we mentioned, we are reviewing our DotA2 strategy and obviously there are a lot of different options on the table. We are in no rush to make any decisions but if teams are looking for a home - regardless of region - now would be the time to reach out"
33 had recently tweeted that mudgolems were looking for an organization, so a collaboration between two parties is definitely a possibility. Also, since NiP has mentioned that teams from any region could contact them, sponsorless rosters in the American region like Quincy Crew, 4Zoomers and even EternaLEnVy’s stack, 4Fun/Team Zero could possibly merge into Ninjas In Pyjamas.
Regardless, it looks like the talks (if any) are still in the infancy phase.
