NiP responded to rumours of them signing the roster of mudgolems.
The org's COO stated that they were assessing the various options available and rethinking their Dota 2 strategy. Also, teams from various regions could contact them if they were in the need of an organization.
Besides mudgolems, sponsorless teams in NA like Quincy Crew, 4Zoomers and EternaLEnVy’s stack, 4Fun could possibly be the teams that get partnered with NiP.

Earlier today, rumours had been making the rounds regarding Ninjas In Pyjamas (NiP) signing the roster of mudgolems. AFK Gaming reached out to the organization for their statement on this development.

NiP Responds To Reports On Them Signing The mudgolems Roster

NiP had on November 30 shut down their Dota 2 division citing the financial struggles caused by the ongoing health crisis and the delay of the DPC. They had stated that they will make a return to the Dota 2 competitive scene once they find the right opportunity after rethinking their targeted region and strategy.

Now today, a report from stated that they had been negotiating with Fata and co. in a deal that would see mudgolems play under the Ninjas In Pyjamas banner.

We reached out to NiP asking for their comments about this report. Chief Operation Officer of Ninjas In Pyjamas, Jonas Gundersen, replied by indicating that the organization might consider picking up another Dota 2 roster.,

“We just released a roster who have been fighting bravely under the NiP banner, and that takes a while to process. But as we mentioned, we are reviewing our DotA2 strategy and obviously there are a lot of different options on the table. We are in no rush to make any decisions but if teams are looking for a home - regardless of region - now would be the time to reach out"

Fata and 33 with NiPFata and 33 have already been a part of the NiP organization from 2018-19.

33 had recently tweeted that mudgolems were looking for an organization, so a collaboration between two parties is definitely a possibility. Also, since NiP has mentioned that teams from any region could contact them, sponsorless rosters in the American region like Quincy Crew, 4Zoomers and even EternaLEnVy’s stack, 4Fun/Team Zero could possibly merge into Ninjas In Pyjamas.

Regardless, it looks like the talks (if any) are still in the infancy phase.
