The group stages of DOTA Summit Online 13: Southeast Asia came to a close today with rather expected results. Motivate.Trust Gaming topped the group stage owing to their hot form while TNC Predator occupied the second place. Adroit Esports and Among Us are the other two teams who looked decent and secure an upper bracket berth in the playoffs.
Upper Bracket Spots for Motivate.Trust, TNC, Among Us and Adroit
Motivate.Trust Gaming looked like the best team in the group stages as they played amazingly well as a team. The Thai squad with no recognizable players has been making a name for themselves since their first place finish at BTS Pro Series Season 3: Southeast Asia. A Tier 1 team in the making, Motivate. Trust Gaming is definitely one of the contenders for winning this tourney as well.

TNC Predator reaches the upper brackets after a second place finish in the group stages. They have certainly come back to deliver the performances they have been known for after disappointing losses in recent leagues. Captain March was released from the squad on September 27 and so they are currently playing with Whitemon as a stand-in
Among Us V2 put up another series of strong performances in the group stages to take the third position. They will look to keep enjoying as they play for this temporary roster and a win in this tournament will surely be the cherry on the cake. We might also be watching a legend of SEA Dota- March as a player for the last time considering his age and his addition to T1 as a head coach just days ago

Adroit Esports took the last spot in the upper brackets as they have come back stronger after their recent roster changes. They have shown some promising Dota 2 performances so they have a great shot at winning the title.
Lower Bracket Spots For BOOM, Neon, 496 Gaming And Cignal Ultra
BOOM Esports almost managed to secure an upper bracket spot as they lost the tie-breaker match against Among Us. They finish at the 5th place with eight drawn series out of a total of ten so they will look to add some consistency in their performances
Neon Esports, 496 Gaming and Cigna Ultra are the remaining teams that continue in this tournament. All of them have looked shaky at various points in the group stages. However, each one of them can write their own underdog story by delivering some strong performances and finishing at least in the top 3.
TEAM STAR and Army Geniuses are the two teams that have been eliminated from DOTA Summit 13: SEA. Both the teams have recently been formed and this tournament will certainly help them learn a lot as they played against the top teams in Southeast Asia.
