After announcing the addition of veteran, Park "March" Tae-won as a coach on October 26, T1 has now signed talented Filipino player, Karl "Karl" Jayme to their squad. Karl, who became only the 6th player to reach the milestone of 11K MMR in early October will be joining the Korean organization and will possibly play the mid role. This is quite a surprising move considering the fact that the Filipino midlaner had just joined Zerothreetwo Dota (032) just twenty days ago and has yet to play an official game for the Cebu based organization.
T1 welcomed Karl to the squad through a tweet.
After March, Karl Joins T1
It looks like a superstar roster is on the horizon for T1, as they have successively added two renowned players of the SEA region. On October 26, T1 overwhelmed everybody by adding March as a coach and now a prodigy, a highly-skilled midlaner, Karl has been included in the squad.
Zerothreetwo Dota Announces Karl’s Departure From The Squad
Before this, Karl played for Geek Fam for a year where he enjoyed considerable success, having many top 3 finishes. The most significant achievement would be the first place finish at ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League where they beat Fnatic 3-1 in the Grand finals to take the lion’s share of $40,000.
T1’s current roster officially comprises of Karl, inYourdreaM, Sam_H, Poloson and Jhocam but according to Valve’s Minor/Major Registration page, inYourdreaM and Poloson had been removed from the squad weeks ago.
So, T1 is likely going to add a safelaner and a hard support player who can probably take the captain duties from Poloson.
Taking into account the team’s social media handles as well as the Valve Dota 2 Majors and Minor’s registration page, T1’s current roster is:
- Karl "Karl" Jayme
- Samson Solomon Enojosa "Sam_H" Hidalgo
- Tri "Jhocam" Kuncoro
- Park "March" Tae-won (Coach)
T1 has already added two famed players in the region in just three days so one can expect some exciting names being added to the menu in the next couple of weeks.
